We'll take the child from him, put it to the test.

A brief instrumental section follows before Barrie begins his drum solo.
After ten minutes he stops, walks to the front of the stage, and, with an exaggerated flourish, strikes a small cymbal which has been set up there.
Through the PA, a single cymbal-splash sounds to echo his. Non-plussed, he strikes his cymbal again. Again, a cymbal sounds in echo. Increasingly annoyed, he strikes the cymbal half a dozen times in quick succession, with an equally fast echo sounding after each one.
Suddenly, from the wings, Ian, Martin, John and Jeffrey come hopping onto the stage on one leg . . . each of them hitting a small hand-held cymbal.
They hop off, and Barrie returns to the kit to finish the solo.
